“Guds mann” vil ha valgboikott
Siste mann fra offisielt serbisk hold til å oppfordre serbere til boikott av valget i Kosovo er ingen ringere enn Biskop Artemije fra den serbisk ortodokse kirken. Det serbernes oppgave å forbli det hellige Kosovo, sier kirkens mann.
Bishop Artemije called on Kosovo Serbs not to take part in the upcoming November 17 poll. “There is no place for the Serbs in institutions that work on destroying our state, seizing our territory and preventing Serbian people from having a normal life,” Artemije told Kontakt Plus Radio.
Explaining the reason behind the call for a boycott of the poll, he said that nothing had changed since March 17, 2004, and that nothing had been done to improve the lives of Kosovo Serbs. He pointed to the poor results of the return process.
“We need to stay in the holy Kosovo and Metohija region, and we need to go through everything which God allows, thus preserving ourselves and Kosovo and Metohija. Only if Serbs survive in Kosovo and Metohija, would this be Serbian land,” he said.”
